Now listen and answer questions 21 to 26. Now, the airport's pretty big, so for your first few shifts, we get you to stay in the main hall and lobby areas. Have a look at the plans I've given you. Visitors that need help have generally just landed and will arrive from the gates at the bottom right of the plan.
The Skytrain can take visitors quickly into the city. The entrance used to be in the lobby near the exit, but a new entrance has just been built. This is now very close to the entrance from the gates on the right of the plan. Passengers use the escalator to get to the platforms.
Some visitors will want to hire a car. The car hire desk is in the lobby. Follow signs to the taxi rank and you'll see it immediately on your right before you leave the building. There are usually several staff working there.
The news agent has a great selection of books and magazines. It's just a short walk from the gates across the main hall. Go along the semicircular walkway past the supermarket. The news agent is in the oval-shaped area to the north of this.
Travelers will often want to exchange currency when they arrive. There's a currency exchange booth in the main hall. It's the oval area halfway between the chemist and the supermarket.
There are a few places to get food and drink, but my favourite is the Bligh Cafe. It's located between the lobby and the main hall and is a very relaxing place to sit because it's full of tropical plants. The supermarket is just opposite.
We often have families with children, so you need to know where the children's play area is. As passengers enter into the main hall from the gates, they need to walk between the clothes shop and the Jewellers, and there's a large play area there.
