It's the road that leads to town. If you're coming from town, the registration table is just off Dempsey Road. You'll see two huts on your right past the car park. The registration table will be in the second of those.
We hope this doesn't happen, but if there are any injuries, we'll have a first aid stand on site. We need access to clean water for washing hands and cleaning wounds, so we're going to use the small block attached to the toilets.
We provide all the materials that our volunteers need, like rakes and bags. The council have allowed us to use one of their sheds for storage. On the northern side of the native garden, there are two sheds. We're using the smaller of the two, so if you run out of anything, go there.
One area that needs particular attention is the adventure playground. It's very popular with local children, but there have been some complaints from parents about broken glass. To find it, from the car park walk south towards the creek and it's on the bank just next to the native garden.
Before the day ends, we want to hand out some prizes to outstanding volunteers and show a film about some of our achievements, so we'll set up a temporary stage. We wondered where to put it, down by the creek or closer to the road, but we decided on a nice spot overlooking the fountain. There are some shady trees to sit under too.
