This year the stall for second hand books has moved. It was near the playground last time but that was a bit noisy so this year it will be on the other side of the site. Coming up the path from the car park on the western side visitors should turn left and it's the rectangular building on the corner.
The food hall is in the same place that we have it every year at the Brookfield Road side of the festival grounds. If people are asking for directions just point them towards the large square building surrounded by trees. They can't miss it.
We've had to expand the rides and amusements area this year because it's such a popular part of the summer festival. Looking at the map you can see two large oval areas. It's the one on the right with just a few trees around the side near the road.
Something new to the summer festival this year is the baby farm animals experience. There'll be some baby chickens to hold and baby goats to feed. We've decided to put it somewhere with easy access to water for the animals. It's the circular area between the toilets and the community hall.
The toys and game stall is being run this year by a group of parents from the local school. They've requested a spot near one of the car parks so we've put them over on the eastern side. See the L-shaped building there? The toys and game stall will be in the larger of the two areas that are set up next to that.
There's going to be a vintage clothes stall this year which will be popular, I bet. From the community hall, visitors come straight up the path. Then they'll need to turn right and keep walking to where the path meets the one from the eastern car park. The stall will be on the corner there.
Now, the garden plant stall has been moved away from the car park, which is where we had it last year. If you look at the left-hand side of the map, you'll see a circular area between two small buildings. That's where we'll put the garden plants this year.
