Now listen and answer questions 17 to 23. OK, I'll talk you through some of the places which are on this map each of you has. Now we're in the car park shown here at the bottom of your map.
There's a fantastic outdoor art exhibition of wonderful sculptures on now. To get there you'll need to go up the path till you see the second bridge over the river. Cross the bridge and you'll see the exhibition in front of you.
Before I forget, the toilets are in a wooden building to the south of the dam, next to the Thompson building itself. They close at five o'clock, half an hour before the rest of the park.
One of my favourite spots in the park is the woodland garden. It's in a small clearing and volunteers are responsible for planting and maintaining it. Leaving the car park and proceeding along the path, when you reach the stream turn right, leaving the path and continue until you come to the garden.
For future reference, I should mention the fabulous new children's play area, located about halfway from the car park to the Thompson building. Head north from the car park and it's just before you reach the grassy picnic area.
If you lose anything, you'll need to go to the administration building, which is just off the road before you enter the car park. It's the small red building. You probably saw it on your way in on the bus.
Now, one of the most interesting places in the park is the demonstration area. There's usually a demonstration of some sort, from how to build a log cabin to identifying the insects that live in these woods. To get there, you'll have to go around the pond at the very northern end of the park. You'll see it there across the pond from the Thompson Building.
Oh, and I almost forgot the notice board. It's just on your right as you're leaving the car park, next to the path. It's got an interactive map and notices of all the present and upcoming activities and things like rules and regulations to follow while you're in the park.
